Status: approved by Bohemia Interactive. This page is
the monetisation programme for BZA Chernarus 1PP
(57.128.250.248:2302), and it has been approved under
Bohemia Interactive's
server
monetisation programme — the same programme that lists
approved
DayZ servers publicly. The 3D retelling view was approved separately
and in writing, after we described it to them. What that means in
practice: the programme below is exactly what we are allowed to sell,
and it is the whole of it.
The shop is not open yet. Nothing is on sale today — no queue priority, no paid colours, no paid 3D — and we are not taking donations either. Prices and a store link will be published on this page when it opens, announced in Discord first. Approval changed nothing about the rule below, and it never will: everything that helps you hide stays free.
The one rule
Camouflage is survival, so it is free. Style is a luxury, so it is what we sell.
Everything in BZA PaintMod that can help you hide is earned in game, on the same terms for everyone: the dark and military base palette, every pattern, every camo colour scheme. That progression — finding paint cans as regular world loot — involves no payment anywhere, and ghillie gear cannot be painted at all. The paid part of the palette is the bright end: white, red, pink and their neighbours. Bright paint makes you easier to spot, not harder. Buying it is a handicap you choose for the look.
| PaintMod content | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Dark & military base palette | Free, in game. |
| All camo patterns | Free — every one of them comes with the Advanced Paint Kit, which is world loot. |
| All camo colour schemes | Free — military paint cans from high-tier loot and caches. |
| Bright colours (white, red, pink…) | Paid once the shop opens — as a flat coat on any part. |
| Decorative symbols & emblems | Paid, planned later under the same rule. |
| Ghillie gear | Cannot be painted at all — by design. |
What the shop will sell
Three things, and they are all a look or a queue position. Each one is a window of 30 days rather than a permanent unlock, and there is a bundle that carries all three for less than the sum of them.
1. Priority login queue
Your place in the login queue when the server is full — and that is the entire product. It changes nothing once you are through the door: no gear, no spawn, no loot, no stat. A player who waits gets into the same server, playing the same game, a few minutes later.
2. Bright colours in BZA PaintMod
The mod is written entirely by us — own code, own textures (Steam Workshop ID 3770991635) — and painting is strictly visual: a painted item keeps exact vanilla stats. Damage, protection, capacity, weight, dispersion — nothing changes. What money would buy is the bright part of the palette, and later a pack of decorative symbols and emblems. The camo patterns and every scheme stay free and earned in game.
3. The 3D view in VISOR_B
VISOR_B — our battle retelling technology — rebuilds a fight from the server's own records and lets you watch it afterwards. Almost all of it is free and stays free: the list of your fights, the map, the timeline, every shot and hit, the roster, and the whole report flow. Reporting a player must never depend on paying, so it does not.
The paid part is the 3D view alone — the same recorded numbers drawn in the measured shape of the world instead of on a flat map. It shows you a fight you have already lost or won, five hours after it ended, and it cannot be opened for a fight you were not in. It gives no advantage in a live match, because there is no live match in it. We described exactly this to Bohemia Interactive before building the checkout, and they approved it in writing on 14 August 2026.
Free for everyone on the first two wipes. Until the wipe on 13 October 2026 the 3D view is open to every signed-in player at no cost, and it becomes a perk on the wipe after it. Everything named above as free stays free then too.
The bundle
All three, one window, at a discount on the three prices added up. It is the same three perks — there is nothing in the bundle that cannot be bought on its own.
Ways to get a perk without paying
These exist because the shop should be a convenience, not the only door.
- The first-wipe reward. Ten hours played across the first two wipes earns a free choice: the bright palette or the 3D view for two wipes, or both for one. The queue pass is not part of it. Nothing to buy, no code, no draw — the terms are here, and choosing closes at the end of the wipe it starts on.
- Promo codes, handed out in Discord. They never carry the founder colour, which is earned and not given.
Donations
We do not take them. There is no donation button, no tip jar and no "support the server" tier — a donation that quietly buys goodwill is the thing this page exists to not do. If the shop opens and you want to support it, buy a perk you actually want; if you want nothing, that is a complete answer too.
What will never be for sale
- In-game currency of any kind
- Weapons, ammunition, attachments or gear
- Vehicles, bases or building materials
- Kits, loadouts or starter gear
- Spawn points, teleports or loot odds
- Any gameplay advantage, in any wrapper
This list is the same one Bohemia approved. If a future idea does not pass the cosmetic-and-non-advantageous test, it does not happen.
Third-party mods
Four mods load alongside our own: Community Framework, VPPAdminTools, Ear Plugs and Autorun Upgraded. None of them is monetised here and none sits behind a paywall. Everything this shop can sell is listed above, and all three of those things are ours: the queue, our own paint mod, and our own battle retelling technology.
The gate lock is ours end to end. BZA Code Lock is free, it is not a donor perk, and it is found in the world like any other item. We publish it on the Steam Workshop under terms to match: any server may run it, monetised or not, without asking us.
Platform, prices and refunds
When the store opens it will run on a hosted platform built for game servers (Tebex or CFTools Cloud), so payments, EU VAT, refunds and chargebacks are handled by a proper merchant of record — we never see your card. Final prices appear on this page before the first item is sold.
Two things about the shape of it, so nobody has to find out afterwards. A perk is a window of 30 days: nothing renews itself, nothing keeps charging you, and when the window ends the perk simply stops — buying another is a decision you make again. And a wipe does not take a perk away: a wipe clears characters, bases, progression and every colour earned in game, but a window you paid for runs to its own end regardless — it is held by the website, not by the map.
