A paint job is one of three things: a flat colour, a stencil in two colours you pick, or an advanced camo pattern in one of six fixed colour schemes. Each part of a weapon and each piece of clothing carries its own.

The palette
Everything below is a colour you can actually have right now. Four come with the game, one is live in Discord as a promo code, and one is the founder colour that the first five players to finish the camo collection will earn and keep forever.
Free — every player, from the first spawn
Promo code — from Discord
Press ESC in game, type the code into the PROMO CODE box under the Discord button, hit REDEEM. The colour is in your palette immediately. How promo codes work.
Founder — the first five, permanently
Earned by being one of the first five players to complete every earned scheme of one advanced pattern. Once earned it is yours forever — it survives the wipe. The founder race.
Colours you do not hold are not drawn in the in-game menu at all, so the grid you see there is always the grid you can use. Any colour you hold works as a base and as a stencil accent — nothing is restricted to flat colour only.
Stencils — you pick both colours
Five stencils, learned one at a time from Pattern Paint Cans. Every player starts knowing Stripes |; the other four are found in industrial loot and stay yours for the rest of the wipe. The in-game menu files them under Basic patterns — learned from cans.
Pick a base and an accent below and the five previews redraw. These are the real tiles — same geometry, same random seeds as the textures on your jacket.
Tiled, the way it lands on an item
A single tile is 256 px square and repeats seamlessly across whatever it is painted on. Pick a stencil above to see it repeated — closer to what you actually get on a backpack. Showing: Checker.
A stencil is one fixed tile. The same 256 px tile goes on a balaclava, a jacket and a backpack, so a stencil comes out bigger or smaller depending on how that item's UV stretches it. Only the advanced camo patterns ship in three densities the item picks for itself — how the tiers work.
Advanced camo — 5 patterns × 6 schemes
Advanced patterns are multi-colour camouflage. You do not pick their colours: each one comes in fixed schemes of three or four tones, the way real camo does. Picking one in the menu replaces both colour grids with a single Camo scheme row. They need an Advanced Paint Kit to apply.
Every one of the thirty tiles below is obtainable. Five come with the Advanced Paint Kit; the other twenty-five are the collection.
What you collect is the combination. A Military Paint Can teaches exactly what is printed on its label — one pattern in one scheme. “Thicket in Autumn” tells you nothing about “Tiger in Autumn”.
UA Pixel comes with the Advanced Paint Kit for all five patterns the moment you find one. The other five schemes — Woodland, Autumn, Desert, Urban and Night — are what Military Paint Cans teach, one pattern-in-scheme at a time. That is the 25 combinations that make up the collection.
Camo density adapts to the item. Unlike a stencil, each advanced pattern ships three tiles — loose for small gear, tighter for garments, tightest for backpacks — so the camo reads at roughly the same real-world size wherever it goes. You do not choose it; the item does.
The six schemes
Each scheme is a fixed set of tones. The first is the background, the rest are the shapes drawn over it.
